Depends when the holiday is compared to the start of term, exams etc and what their view is with regard to term time absence.

Re-arrange the holiday, I can't imagine it's any good skipping a week or two of uni.

Well the uni will just say you should have thought about it when booking the holiday, so they wont permit you to go. It's not like school.
