Sorry if this question has been asked before! Hoping someone knows more about the loan system than I do.

I am in the 2nd year of my MSc. I have just applied for Post Grad Student finance and the on line status says approved. The payment dates given were Sept 2016, Jan 2017 and 25th April 2017. I just wondered if any one knew roughly how long payment might take to reach me? and also do they catch up and pay the first two instalments in one?
