basically i went to uni in september, didnt like it and dropped out. now im going again (different uni, different course) but i have to tell my parents and i dont think they will be happy with my choice.

Well I think it's wonderful that your first experience hasn't put you off and that you're ready to give it another go!
If you haven't already done so then I would just be honest with them, tell them that it's what you really want to do and why. Best of luck
