I'm retaking my second semester next year due to illness. Because I'm not returning to uni until January when I'll be retaking, do I need to apply for finance now or later? :cyber:

Applications for 17/18 are now live. So even if you are Jan start you can still go online on https://www.gov.uk/apply-online-for-student-finance and reapply.
