Driving at 16 question

Hi,
If u have a provisional license at 16 can you start to drive with a person accompanying you.
I have heard that you can if the person with you has a full driving license, and over 21 years old but you cannot drive on the motorway.

No, you can only drive a car with you provisional at 17. The date the provisional becomes active for you to drive a car can be found on the back of the physical licence.

You can drive at 16 if you have been emancipated by the state , or you can ride a moped.
