DSA: what will I get?

I am about to start a foundation computer science course. I live alone so I get maximum loans offered and I have depression and anxiety.

Does anyone know what I will receive for the DSA?

It is money or help with things?

Also if you can get a laptop after paying the £200 deposit, what laptop do you get and how much is it worth?

Its not money, it's help towards things like a mental health mentor . If they assess you as needing a laptop then it ll just be the most basic one that can run any software they offer you.

Hi, you'll need to apply for DSA first before you can see what you're entitled to.

Disabilities effect everyone differently so each DSA entitlement is different. The types of elements of DSA include Equipment, Non-medical helpers, Specialist 1-2-1 support, Travel, General Allowance etc.
