Gyni problems

Just wondering if anyone got any advice I’m 18 and still virgin iv been having a lot of pain down below and my gp has said if my results gone back clear from my swobs then I may have no other choice but to have a fully internal examination
Or refured to gyni at the hospital but they will do a internal examination anyway
Tbh I really rather everything happen at my gp surgery but I’m just worried what will go off in the jnternal exam

If the tests are clear definitely tell your GP you would prefer a pelvic exam at the surgery.

I'm not sure what a "fully internal exam" will entail.
It will definitely be a pelvic exam where they feel up there with fingers, use a device called a speculum to see inside ect.

I've had plenty of those leading up to a diagnosis they were fine and if you feel any pain they'll stop :smile:

They may also do a transvaginal ultrasound where the ultrasound probe is placed In your vagina however it is much smaller than a regular one.
