I never fully release the clutch when reversing is this bad

If I fully release the clutch it goes too fast and the engine rattles a lot.

I don't do that either..
I had a driving lesson a week ago and he said just make micro adjustments with the clutch.

I don't think there's a way to reverse with your foot completely off the clutch unless you want to smash into whatever is behind you.

Yeah keep doing you. I don't think launching backwards at 10mph is a good idea either.

If you want to save your clutch, avoid situations where you reverse your car over long distances.
When carrying out fine manoeuvres, eg. when parking, use the clutch to control the speed with far more precision than using the accelerator alone

I personally only do that if im reversing up a slope.
Yeah don’t remove your foot fully from the clutch it’ll go too fast.

It all depends on the road, if it’s uphill/downhill/flat. If it’s downhill you can pretty much keep the clutch in and just lift off the brake a bit, but if it’s up hill you will possibly need gas.
