hey ive got a conditional offer where i need AAA in maths physics and chemistry. now does it matter what grade i get for a further maths AS? i picked it up in my second year, but if the grade doesn't matter i don't see much point in revising for it beyond the fact that i won't get a U..?

No it doesn't matter, as its not explicitly stated in your offer. However if you do miss your offer it can be helpful to point out to them you have further maths knowledge at say A or B level, which is fairly respectable, with C and beyond I'm not sure if i'd mention it, but that would be your choice.
