Uni application advice

Like most people on this forum, I am looking to send off an application for universities very soon. However I have a little dilemma on my hands. As it stands, I'm looking to apply for 5 different universities (4 of which recognise the Welsh Bacc). As a student I am studying history, french, chemistry and the Welsh Bacc with the hopes of studying history and russian in uni. I'm looking for advice on dropping chemistry as i am struggling a little and would have to resit last years exams.Should i wait for offers before dropping the subject or just get rid of it now? As i have already said, 4 of the 5 (including my first choice) accept Welsh Bacc with history and french, but i don't know if i should drop it just in case i don't do well in others. Any advice is greatly appreciated

If you know that you are struggling with it, and the 5th one that does not recognise it is NOT in your Top 3, I would say drop chemistry, unless you know that you can pick yourself up and improve on it
