How much are you getting? Where are you living? Have any kids? Without the figures not sure it is double. Normally max maintenance loan is about 11k if you were in London from a low income application. You might get extra child Grant's from SFE. If it's more than that defo check with SFE, dont want to have to deal with an overpayment when they realise.
