Financial aid for British national who is considered an overseas fee payer

i’ve been living in england since 2018 and I am due to start university this year, i also lived in england for about a year and a half in 2003 - so I have lived for the minimum three years and a british national, but i am being classified as an overseas fee payer.

i’d much prefer to start university this year as opposed to deferring entry and securing home fee payer status. i’m aware that overseas fee paying students don’t have access to student finance england - what is funding like for overseas fee payers? could i still get access from SFE since i have actually lived in england for a minimum of three years and i am a british national?

The 3 year requirement is 3 consecutive years, not total. i.e. You need to have lived here since 2017

You wouldn't be eligible for any funding from SFE, you would have to fund your course and accomodation etc yourself
