Why am I not given a home fee status

Why am I not given a home fee status

I got an optometry offer from a university but they asking to prove I’m dependent on my parents before my fee status will be home fee instead of international. Please any thoughts on what they want me to provide Cus I’m confused. I don’t live with them and I’m not financially dependent. So is there any other types of dependency

Are you a uk national/passport holder? It sounds like you have answered the nationality and residency questions on UCAS wrong.

If you send a university a photo of your uk passport then that will normally be enough to prove that you’re a home fee payer

As above from PQ, and I'd suggest that you actually phone that Uni and ask what evidence they actually want.
