How much do GCSEs actually matter to Universities?
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the GCSEs were all predicted grades. Most of the predicted grades were better than what most people can achieve and my grades were bad compared to the rest. How much do these GCSEs actually affect the Unis views on me? Of course A levels are the most important when Universities choose but will my GCSEs really affect if the Unis want to choose me?
Most universities dont care about GCSEs. Oxford and LSE do but hardly anybody else does. Most require grade 4 or C in English Language and Maths and sometimes higher. They tend to want 5 or more at 4 or above but other than that it doesnt really matter.
