If I apply for an Adult Dependants' Grant for 21/22, which year will my wife's income be assessed on?

For your main application we will take the 2019/20 tax year income.

What happens if she gets a job later, will I still get the ADG?

ADG is automatically assessed based on your spouses household income. Our assessors will determine if your partner is dependent on you if you choose to apply for the ADG.

Thanks Isaac. She is now, I'm just worried that if I got it awarded now as she doesn't work, then later gets a job that I might have to repay it.

Our guidance states:

If the student applies for ADG for their spouse or partner, they will be automatically assessed based on the household income, so evidence will not be required.

We use the 2019/20 household income for the 21/22 academic year.
Thanks, Isaac
