Can you join the reserves and have 2 roles? ie. a dog handler and a vet officer?

I spoke to a reservist and they said this was possible, but I can't see how it would work logistically...

I've known people who have been dual roled, but this was a) a long time ago, and b) roles that were both non commissioned. I'd be very surprised if you could be in an officer role for one thing and a private role in another.
