Because the OP wants to join the Paras! They seem to be one of the few posters who know who the Para are, or about their reputation. It's a reasonable question to ask at 16.

My "thoughts" are, should you decide to join the paras which require no qualifications whatsoever, the person who paid for your private education would be more than a little pissed off!
