I don't think there are many 'right of way' questions with the word 'Lorry' that the answer isn't also 'Lorry'.

Yup. If you rely on ‘right of way’ to keep you safe then you’re going to come a cropper.

OP: Avoid being alongside lorries wherever possible. Ultimately you’ve no idea where they are going.
