It's almost A-level results - what advice would you give Year 13s?

Poll

How confident are you that you'll achieve the grades you need to get into your firm uni?

It's almost A-level results day - so what advice would you like to give Year 13s as they look toward receiving their results?

If you're receiving results on Thursday 18th, how are you feeling about it!?

There's heaps of support (and company) available on TSR. Hang with other Year 13s in our Results Day countdown thread, ask help from one of our clearing and applications advisors or check out our mega clearing FAQ.

Whatever happens this results day, we're here to support you.

- Research ahead and make a note of contact details for universities in case you need them :call:
- Try to stay as calm as possible on results day, it's a stressful time already so don't make it harder by getting worked up :hugs:
- Be prepared with your UCAS ID and grades if you need to contact universities :fyi:

Good luck to everyone waiting on results next week! You've done brilliantly already to get this far and receive the offers you have. It's a nerve-wracking time but it's also a *really* exciting time - you've lots to look forward to! University staff will be there to help you regardless of what happens with your grades, so don't be afraid to get in touch with us if you need to:smartass:

if you decide to do "the A level results jump" make sure that you have sensible footwear with a strong grip and good ankle support. many students' special day is spoiled by avoidable foot trauma

Being prepared can help reduce anxieties around results day. Maybe have a look at clearing courses that you’re interested in and have the contact details to hand on results day should you need them.

Best of luck with your results!

Hope this helps!
