I know that Clarks (shoe shop) usually advertise for summer staff (as that is their busiest time). Other shoe shops might do the same, you would have to check.
Some places (e.g. leisure centres) have summer camps, and activities etc for kids in the holidays and they usually want staff. That might be worth looking into.

Lovely thanks for your help! Someone else also mentioned summer camp which sounds like a fun option. I found one called XUK Camps which I have just applied for! Wish me luck...
