What are my chances of getting into med school with these GCSE grades?

science: 8/9
RE: 8
graphics: 6
geography: 9
spanish: 7
maths: 7
english:9/8
All my teachers seem to be pretty skeptical so its really freaking me out, however please be brutally honest.

I'm sort of going through a similar thing. (I got 988876666).. if you go through all of the university prospectuses, they tell you the entry requirements, including the GCSE requirements. Some uni's rank your GCSE grades once you've met the minimum entry requirements, but others don't. (For Exeter, their only requirement a 4 in English Language and they don't rank the rest of your GCSE's either and there's quite a few similar!) From what I've been told, it's still manageable to do med but you just need to apply strategically.

Also, I'm not sure of your situation, but you may be able to apply for a foundation year or widening access if you're set on a Uni that ranks GCSE's... just check the requirements :smile:
