What are signs of infertility?

Are there any signs of infertility without trying to get pregnant? It’s my biggest fear. Im 24 and have a loving boyfriend but I’m so scared I’ll be infertile. There’s no logic to my fear either as I have a regular period and they aren’t ever super painful! It’s just basically my life goal to be a mother, no matter what amazing jobs I get!

Im on the pill and that scares me it’ll cause infertility too.
Sometimes I want to do no contraception and just have a baby as realistically we are stable enough to have a baby we just aren’t married.

Is there a fertility test one can take?

When you want to get pregnant, have sex every night, on a regular basis. If that doesn't work after you have done it for a while, get some advice then.

I am going to be in the minority but you should have children as early as you can after uni and things feel right for you. I would say 24 is a perfect age and you should start trying to have children since you are financially stable and good in your relationship.

Speak to your man and have a serious discussion. Some females that I know want to have all their children by 30 but some get married at 23/24 after uni.

I am personally against contraceptives due to my background but I understand that others would want to use it.

All the best.

Maybe go and see your GP for some reassurance

Yes, there are Fertility MOT Tests available from private clinics.
You and your bf can each get fertility tested with at least one consultation with a fertility specialist included to explain the results and your options.
Couples consultations for London start at £500.
Female only fertility testing and consultations start at £425.
