Failing a resit module

I’ve failed a resit module that is worth 15 credits, I haven’t been told though I assume if I fail a module twice I’ll have to retake the year. Is there any way I could avoid retaking the year and obtain the 15 credits, such as taking the course along side my other modules in 2nd year?

Thank you for your time.

You are required to pass all 120 credits in any given year. Unis will not allow you to 'carry' a 15-credit module into the following year; you will have 120 credits in that year to work on. The best bet is that they ask you to take a year out and retake the missing 15 credits. Worse case, they can throw you off the course. Do you have any extenuating circumstances?
