Hey there!
As far as I'm aware, you have to resubmit your application with that university if you reject their initial offer. If you choose to accept your first choice offer then you can choose to defer it for a year or so, meaning your place still stands but you can choose to take it at a later date. You might not be guaranteed a place on that course if you reject their offer and decide to reapply, depending on if it's a highly competitive course with limited places. Get in contact with your chosen university to see what they can do for you regarding your place. Even if it was just for a year, they'd probably let you defer.
