A- levels for computer science degree?

What are the "preferred" a - levels to get a degree in computer science degree?

I know quite a few people who did physics, maths and cs at a level
some do economics or further maths too

If you want to go to oxbridge and I think Imperial you need Further maths. Maths is needed everywhere. Surprisingly CS is never required although I would recommend taking it. For the third/fourth do whatever. I know physics is very often taken with CS, FM and maths but it really has no relevance to CS and unis don't care about subjects that don't link to the subject your applying for.
Maths is required for the vast majority of highly ranked universities. Further Maths is essential only for Imperial, Cambridge and Oxford. The 3rd subject can be anything, most people take Computer Science or Physics but it really doesn't matter.
