Help please

Hi I wonder if anyone can help please
I am at open university but qualify for the Maintenance loan due to a disability. I have just been told that I’m being changed to universal credit from tax credits.
Does anyone know if universal credit will still take my maintenance loan off my money as I receive it due to being disabled and distance learning?
I don’t qualify for the special support grant as open university is classed as part time even though I’m studying full time!
Any help would be most appreciated
