PhD Loans for 2024/25

Hello all,
I had contact with an interested supervisor in advance of a PhD application for 23/24 but they have gone on sick and are no longer accepting students and it seems other supervisors don't have space. The uni has suggested I apply for 24/25 but not through a deferral. I need the government PhD loan to pay my tuition fees. Does anybody know if there will be PhD loans in 24/25 or who I could contact to ask/ how I could find out? Other entry dates are not an option. Thanks.
TLDR: Does anyone know if there will be PhD loans for academic year 24/25 only or have any specific idea of how I could find out?
