Conflicting lifestyles and low empathy.

Many people are petty, fail to see the bigger picture or live and let live and minor territorial battles develop. Some people are genuinely bad neighbours as well. On the positive side there are many good neighbourly interactions

Because they don't get on, and can't easily escape, some also like drama. The end.
