UCAS

I think ucas should change things. Scottish students applying to English unis don’t get told if I’m with form/ins choice on their sqa results day and have to wait till a level results day.. this isn’t fair. Maybe u can look into this as u feel second beat even though u were offered a place but they wait and choose clearing folk and then reject u. So unfair.
This is because the Scottish Qualifications Authority is part of The Joint Council for Qualifications.

That makes no sense at all and has nothing to do with universities putting applicants on hold.
If you've met your offer, you will get in.

As English unis have mostly A-level applicants, it's not unreasonable that they'd want to see how their A-level applicants did before deciding whether to take a Scottish applicant who just missed their offer, though.
