Can I open a joint account with my boyfriend if I have a cifas marker?

I received a cifas marker around 2 years ago just before starting uni after being used as a money mule under the impression it was a new method of payment for a service I was providing. I have been looking to get it removed with legal assistance however currently it is way out of my budget after being quoted £1000 to get it removed. My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years now and our finances are already intertwined heavily and we thought it would be easier to try and set up a joint savings account, however I don’t know if we would get accepted anywhere and what impacts it could have on him as well.
