The Student Room Group

Hello! I don't know if here's the best place to ask but some advices would be helpful

So me and my girlfriend had sex and we didn't know she was ovulating. I used a condom and after that i filled the condom with water and there was a very very small hole near the base of the condom and not the tip of the condom. We were worried about precum and she took the morning pill. After 1 or 2 weeks we expected her period and at first there were red spottings and then brown but then eventually she bleed for about 3 or 4 days with normal red blood ( she filled the tampons with blood). My question is. Was that her period? Should i be concerned? She said she had her period and it was normal, but it should be ok?

I forgot to add that i didn't ejaculate in the condom. I did it outside!

Hey

Everything you have said above sounds like your girlfriend has had her period as normal - she will know her cycle best too so if she says that was her period, it most likely is.

You also took the extra precaution of taking the morning after pill on the occasion where you found your condom had a hole in it, so it is unlikely that she would pregnant, especially if she has had her period.

If you are both concerned that she might be pregnant then you can always do a pregnancy test to settle any worries - you can get these for free from sexual health clinics (you can find your nearest one here - https://www.brook.org.uk/find-a-service/) or you can buy them from supermarkets and pharmacies.
