how do uni offers work
i'm predicted A*A*A* .
if a course's standard offer is A*AA, will that be the condititon on the offer i recieve? or does the grade requirement change based on how good the other elements of your application are? eg if i have a weak interview could i get an offer for A*A*A?

Like 99% of the time if the course's standard offer is A*AA then you'll get an offer for A*AA. I think there's a small chance that if you have strong predicteds (like A*A*A*) and you're a weaker candidate otherwise, then you might get an offer with higher grade requirements. But this is incredibly rare.
