Pre-interview rejection
I asked for feedback when my application was rejected and I was told due to how many apply we can’t give feedback but they scored my application so why can’t they tell me?
Because it’s time consuming and rarely specific enough to be useful to the applicant.
Standard practice- responding can lead to more tedious dialogue (time spent responding is essentially a cost on the business), providing more detail opens the door to longer term things like litigation if criteria change year to year.
