Hi there! This was a worry of mine as well when I was applying for universities! Ethnicity wise, I would say its a pretty diverse university, being an ethnic minority myself 🙂 I've never felt like I really stuck out too much!

We have loads of cultural societies, from the African-Caribbean society to MENA (Middle East and North Africa) society. There is usually also a yearly show hosted by the Student Union where people do performances inspired by their cultures. The Student Union has also recently (in the past year) started a university wide event which is like a cultural fair! Cultural societies come in and share their foods, music and culture.

We also have loads of societies that really represent students' different identities, I would say. We have many religious societies, LGBT societies, and student organisations for students with disabilities.
