30 Merits, 15 Distinctions - Access to HE

Hey! Was just hoping for clarification from anyone that knows better than me!

I’ve been offered a Uni place subject to conditions, of course.
Those conditions being needing 30 Merits, 15 Distinctions.

I’m currently doing an access to HE course. Each unit appears to be worth 3 credits.

Is it as simple as - I need to pass 10 units with a merit and 5 with a distinction?

Just trying to figure out how this actually works!

Thanks

Hi @rsofia

Congratulations on your offer!

If you have 15 units in total would assume your understanding is correct, but it all comes down to UCAS points.

Just to be on the safe side, I would discuss this with either your tutor, the university, or UCAS. They are the experts.

I wish you all the best:smile:
