Best Uni for physiotherapy for neurodiverse disabled student
I am currently a 2nd year undergrad at a University and my time has been difficult.
Therefore I am exploring transferring to another university and would like to know others advice and experience and what is the best supporting University for neurodiverse students in terms of e.g. understanding, support, reasonable adjustments etc

So for me I go to Sheffield and their support and understanding has been amazing
(I'm autistic and these are the main things that have stood out for me but feel free to ask any questions)
Exam adjustments:
Exams in a room no more than 10 people
25% extra time
20 minutes of rest breaks per hour
Headphones are allowed in exams
Learning support plan: shared with all lectures
Provides a summary of how autism manifests in me and the challenges academically and socially
Clear and unambiguous language when marking etc and extra sessions to go through feedback
Written conformation of all the work in the different modules at the start of term such as presentations
Having a reading list and shows which is required and extra
All course material avaliable 24 hours before the lecture
For group work and presentations I can pick my group and present to a smaller group also meetings to check how it's going
Record the lectures
Don't ask me questions unless I volunteer the answer
Have rest breaks and a support worker during labs
Also if my attendance slips have a meeting to see what adjustments are needed
Can wear headphones in lectures and labs
Able to leave the lecture if overwhelmed and can arrive late or leave early
Other stuff:
So the staff are amazing as I asked if they have lecture notes to go with slides and they wouldn't normally give them out as it stops people focusing but gave them to me
Sunflower lanyard so staff are more understanding
Autistic student support group
Orientation support and tour
Random events during the year such as private tour of labs and support sessions
