Would I be a bad friend?
I’m in my mid 20s and a group of people I was friends with at uni want to meet up for a day after years of no contact. When they first asked I said ‘sure!’ not really thinking about the logistics of everything…it would take me 2.5 hours to travel one way to where they want to go, so 5 hours total. My job is demanding and I often take work home with me so I usually use my days off to recover 🥲
I’m now starting to not feel like travelling that far in a day, but I feel bad if I cancel because I originally said yes. For me personally, 5 hours of travelling in a day is a bit much, am I being unreasonable? I wasn’t really close to this group of friends, only one of them.
