If all i want to do is change the spelling of my first name am i still able to get a deed poll at 15 and use it to correct the name on my passport?

You need to be 16 or older. Under 16, you need your parents’ involvement. See https://www.gov.uk/change-name-deed-poll

If you are only changing the spelling of your first name slightly, you may not need to do a deed poll.
The passport office will also accept 2 documents that contain your preferred spelling.
These can include a:
