Did I just get rejected by my friend I slept with?

I slept with a friend at the weekend, we have always wanted to.

I follow up by saying would you want to go for a drink and he replied:

"I don't think it's a good idea, I like a girl and it would just complicate things. Sorry if that's crap of me but it's the right thing. Hope you're not feeling crap about us sleeping together"

He went on a few dates with a girl recently but still slept w me.

What do you think to that?

Ah yes, it would 'complicate things' with another girl by going for a drink with you. The sex doesn't complicate either your friendship or whatever he has with that other girl though, apparently. Amazing how he decides to do the 'right thing' once he's slept with you.

I think this guy used you for sex always intending to reject you. Unless you were aware that this was essentially going to be casual, no-strings attached sex, he has absolutely betrayed your trust by sleeping with you. That is a friendship that I would be ending if I were you.
