Means testing

Hi, I am a first year university student who has been studying at uni since september. When I applied for uni I only took the minimum maintenance loan and the tuition fee loan. I recently found out that to apply for university scholarships and bursaries I had to be means tested so I completed a PFF2 form and submitted this. Upon doing this I found out that this could potentially increase the amount I am entitled too for the maintenance loan based on parental income and I would also wish too know how it long it take for a PFF2 form to be processed and accepted and whether or not it could actually increase my maintenace loan allowance even after the final payment date.
Thanks, Junayd

Hi Junayd,

This can take 13 working days as an estimated timescale. You can track your application with our processing timescale via here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/sfe-current-application-timescales or via your account here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8a4p4IP1lzo
