Why is it more socially acceptable for women to be picker in choosing a partner?

I suppose some people can be blinded by their feelings when they are younger. I however have just turned 20 and would be very rational in analyzing who I fancied/didn't fancy.

I know that men can be picky - I would certainly exercise my right to!

But that doesn't mean that those men aren't judged for it - in the same way that some women are judged for bouncing on many appendages.

Everyone knows it. Guys won't say no if sex is offered to them, they watch porn, and think about sex loads. It is very easy to turn a man on.

If you were a man you wouldn't say this, more than likely if a girl approaches a guy for sex they will say yes.

I really cannot for the life of me think of situations where men have been maligned for being picky, especially not in the same way or to the same extent that some women are for having many sexual partners.

If i said its an ongoing project to try and turn a slut.. i would get labelled as stupid for going after a person known to be a player. Why can men do it but women can't!

There's a HUGE difference between watching pornography (most men prefer softcore) and actually properly entering somebody's vagina.

I don't think that many men just think about sex loads (probably mainly when they masturbate only actually) - how could men be fretting about sex when they are in the middle of a 3 hr long exam?! Or before a series of interviews?! Or at work?!

Maybe the guy may not say not if he was intoxicated, granted.

E.g. when one of the female friends of the female who for some reason fancies the disinterested male object of desire informs the said male of the woman's desires and encourages him to 'make a move'. When the said male does not make any such move because he well...just doesn't feel the need, questions are asked as to why and accusations may be made of his excessive selectivity, etc.
