Your personal response to 'I love you!'?

What if you loved them back?

What if you didn't like them in 'that way'?

-*cue awkward blushing*

Would probably be something along these lines:

-Probably the same but without as much blushing.

-Ditto
-Wow, what a coincidence! I love me too!
"You shouldn't have said that"

& then probably just cut contact.
In the unlikely event this did happen, I would probably respond with something mundane like 'great'.

- I love you too
- I don't love you

Keeping it straight to the point

Have to to be careful not to get into a sticky situation with a reply

I only ever say it in situations that are sticky already.

"That is very nice of you but may I please have my Big Mac"
"erm, thank you?" or "cool"

pretty awkward either way

I love me too.
"Um...cool" or "Thanks" if I didn't like them at all

If you love them back then just say so. If you're not scared off but don't feel you can say it back then just say so. If you are scared off entirely then just say so.
I love you too, like a sister/brother.
Mwahahahahah
If I didn't like them back: "I bet you do...smile." or "You read my mind."

If I did like them back: "I love you too." (Nothing much to say there.)

"Oh but Mr. President we shouldn't!"
It's a bit late now, I've already dug your burial site in the woods. Sorry.
