When exactly do unis confirm your place?
Do they decide on results day? If so, when on results day? I've been thinking I could go on to track on results day before I pick up my results to check if I got in. Should hopefully soften the blow if I don't

Unis get your results the weekend before you do so they have time to go through and decide whether applicants have met their offers or not.
UCAS track is frozen for this period but will be updated on results morning by 8am (although it is usually earlier than this).

UCAS also sends you a letter in the post, the day after results day, to confirm your place.
