Decided I'm moving gyms as my current one isn't too well equipped to train for powerlifting, plus they moan at me for squatting/deadlifting so much, and tell me to stop using the rack so much (srs).
Went for a look around a gym I found close to me, much more hardcore + some very shady looking people.
Power rack
Two platforms, although they've bolted a bench in one, could still deadlift on it though I suppose.
7 oly bars, trap bar, safety squat bar (yet I only saw 3 pairs of collars, odd)
Squat box, chains, bumpers and boards.
Hip squat machine, which looks interesting, plus finally got access to a GHR and plyo boxes.
Dumbbells up to 80kg + other stuff I'll realistically never use.
Looks promising.
Had a quick workout while I was there, my knee has been giving me trouble the last few times I squatted and is just generally stiff and sore, tried to squat today to see how it felt, still FUBAR, patella tendonitis I think. Worked up to 100kg X 1 and my knee wasn't having it. Still stiff/sore a couple of hours after.
