I'm 5'8 so I'd prefer a guy be at least 6ft. I'm not really picky, as long as I can wear heels and not feel too tall next to him

Ultimately, I think this is just an exercise in reassurance. In the same way that a thread asking "how often do you like your partner to cut their toenails?" would end up with reading through, finding responses that match themselves, and feeling great that someone else out there theoretically could love them. In reality though, height, like toenails, is really just a small fraction of a much larger package.
I suppose that's the problem with trying to quantify something as visceral and reflexive as attraction. I'm certain that we could spend all afternoon writing up EXACTLY what we wanted from a partner. Then the next day meet 10 people who have ticked all of our boxes, and find none of them attractive.

I'm 5'5/6, ideal height for a guy would be 6ft but I've dated shorter and taller.
