Anyone got an offer for English/English Literature??

Nice choices! I applied for English at UEA(with creative writing), Southampton, Kent (English and American Literature), RHUL and Sussex a month ago. Got Kent the next day, UEA this Monday, and haven't heard from the other three. No experience of your choices though.

UEA! I never thought I'd get an offer for their English with Creative Writing course - it's quite competitive, and I didn't think my portfolio was good enough, so I'm chuffed to bits to have received an offer! You?

How long did it take for you to receive your first offer?

My quickest was a day after sending my application to them, my next one took three and a half weeks

just got an offer from leeds!

I'm on 4/5. Still waiting for Southampton.

I applied for English at Liverpool, Chester, Edge Hill, Queen's Belfast, and Stirling. Got an offer from Chester on Monday, still waiting on the others (only sent off on Saturday evening). Are you doing Lit and Lang or just one of them?

I applied for English Lit at Leeds, Sheffield and Liverpool, and then for English at Birmingham and Leicester (but they're still almost 100% Lit if you opt out of Lang modules).

I got an offer from Liverpool yesterday, took them exactly a week to get back to me so you should get your offer soon!
