How soon is too soon to kiss someone?

I've heard many people say that if there is no kiss on the first date then the person must not be into them. I've never kissed a guy on the first date before and I probably never will unless I knew him beforehand.

What about you? What are your thoughts?

I think kissing on the first date is fine - in fact if it didn't happen I'd think they didn't like me. But everyone goes at their own pace, and if you don't want to kiss them then don't

Interesting. I've never thought of it like that. I remember when I went on a date with this guy and he tried to kiss me in the middle of our date, it wasn't the right moment or anything so I was really put off.
