Do Russell Group universities accept a mix of A-Level and BTEC level 3??

I want to take a-level biology, a-level chemistry and BTEC forensic science to hopefully be able to do biomedical science or biochemistry (or something along those lines).

Does anyone know or have experience with this??

Bristol - Applied Science BTEC with A level Chemistry for BSc Biochemstry

Kings College London - http://www.kcl.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/courses/biochemistry-bsc.aspx - query about the forensic pathway however

Southampton - consider on individual basis - BSc Biochemistry

UCL also accept the BTEC extended diploma in applied science but as you are taking Bio and Chem A level you should be fine to get in - see here http://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/undergraduate/degrees/applied-medical-sciences-bsc/

others who accept BTEC for BSc Biochem include: York, Sheffield, Leeds (Applicants with BTEC Subsidiary Diploma qualifications must normally have at least 2 A2 levels and at least one of these should be chemistry) and Cardiff

hope this helps

Yes, they do.

You know, I very recently got an email from LSE confirming that they accept a BTEC Level 3 Certificate as a fourth AS subject, which you must have.

THANKS SO MUCH, I am so greatful for this as my mum was trying to make me take physics or maths as my third option, but I said i couldn't do it and then I started panicking whether Russell uni's would accept my options...
Anyways enough rambling, THANKS
