Bsc Paramedic science 2018

Could somebody please tell me if I would be able to receive funding from student finance for a second degree - bsc in paramedic science. I have spoken to somebody at student finance who said it could be eligible but someone else said it wouldn’t be. It was previously funded by the local ambulance service but that has now stopped and it has been transferred to student finance?

Hi Confusedface,

If you have a degree already the Paramedic Science course is only classed as an exception if you are entitled to funding from the Ambulance Service Trust.

If you aren't entitled to funding from them the course is then subject to our Equivalent Level Qualification rules.

Warm regards,

Shaun.

Hi,

I have spoken to the University who have said it is no longer funded by the NHS. Does that mean I would not be funded by student finance?

Hi Confusedface,

That's correct. We would be unable to fund this specific course.

Warm regards,

Shaun.
