I think it would a bit but I'd need to know more before deciding if it's a deal breaker. Like why he slept with them, why he felt the need to, how he felt afterwards and if he'd do it again. Also how recently in the past it was. If it was like a week before I started dating him it would put me off but if it was years before it wouldn't be so off putting.

Guy is ugly, and/or shy. No girl wanted to be with him. Therefore he decided to sleep with an escort. Note that he could very easily have lied, you'd never have known. He wanted to let you know because he likes you and wants to build a solid foundation for the relationship.
